I have to give thanks to God for such a marvelous example of courage when it came down to trusting in God and defending what nowadays is for the youth just the price you have to pay when you go looking for affection and tenderness. What they don’t know, and what I didn’t know either a few years ago, is that this is not love, it is nothing more then a bottomless pit… True love is God and only within the church can we walk towards Him.
I have to confess that I have never really had a lot of devotion to the saints. Recently in Morning Prayer, I am discovering some of the saints and their lives, but today when I received the story of Marta something in my interior made me devour all the sections of the web page. It has been a great help to me and has made me understand better the mission of the saints.
When my children are older I hope that this story, this profession of faith, fills them as much as it has filled me today. Thank you for fighting for the fact that this world should get to know this girl and her story. I won’t keep quite about it either, I also will spread it around so that the young people may be brave and surrender themselves to the love of God.
