I wish to tell you of a favor which I attribute to the intercession of MARTA OBREGÓN RODRÍGUEZ. One of my daughters went to live with one of the boys from her group of friends and they were not even going out. We were very upset about it because she was not a “frivolous” girl and we had tried to give her a good moral and human education like responsible parents.

We told her that although we did not like her conduct, we were still her parents and we would always receive her in the house. By the way, she even kept coming home to eat lunch every day because it was nearer to her job and she found it already made. When I asked her if she was thinking of getting married she told me that she didn’t have any intention of doing anything of the sort and that she was old enough to live her own life.I heard about the story of Marta and sought her intercession: “You were capable of giving up you life in order to defend your PURITY, intercede for my daughter so that she leaves this situation”.

A few days passed by, not even a week since I had started to pray to Marta, when my daughter announced that she was getting married in a few months time. They already had the date and the church decided on and were preparing to start a marriage course. I nearly fainted. They went to confession before the wedding and it was a really beautiful ceremony.Now they have two children. The eldest is three years old and the other is one year old and they are always the center of attention.

I find what has happened incredibleand it came about through the intercession of Marta.This is my testimony for the cause of her beatification.
